I have had to take both my dogs there as emergency on 2 separate occasions recently. It started with Beverly at the front desk who was wonderful and compassionate as my dog was in so much pain with his leg. She quickly had someone take him back to put him on pain meds right away. She kept us updated on everything. Checked on us as we waited to hear about him. And was so happy to hear he would be ok. Then it was our other dog who was not breathing well and we unexpectedly had to put her down. The step by step tests and results from Dr. Tara Zentner was amazing. She was so compassionate. We were able to take our baby girl out to the gazebo in the fresh air to say our final goodbyes. The doctor and the two techs supporting her were just amazing. We are so appreciative about how sensitive they were to our feelings.
Best docs around for your pet. Open 24 hrs a day all year long. They are professional and compassionate.Update 10/18/2024: I have been going here almost 25 years. I have had good outcomes and bad outcomes. I have had small bills and huge bills. Don't bad mouth this facility because they charge you a fee for their services. They have bills like you do. They have worked with me on payments and offer multiple discounts. Just talk to them about it. Their staff is compassionate, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I am paying for that knowledge and so are you. It costs money to own an animal. I didn't got to vet school so I go here - they did. I have had my 6 dogs, rabbits, birds, 3 cats, 1 deer and a flying squirrel here - even during Covid they only turned you away if you were abusive to staff or skipped out on a bill. Yup, people drop off their animals and never pay the bill or never pick them - they dump them. So when you complain about the fee for taking care of you beloved fur baby - it's part of owning a pet - and if you don't pay- it's called a finance charge or collections. I am grateful that there is a facility like this in our community. I highly recommend them. If you don't like what they have to say - pay your bill and go somewhere else.
As a new patient my dog was quite stressed but she was tenderly loved by the tech and the veterinarian. They listened to me and offered suggestions and guidance. We definitely are returning when she’s due for another visit.
We have been going here for about 12 years. They have always been so kind to my fur babies. I believe Dr. Irwin is a cat whisperer. She is a fantastic vet. Highly recommend.
